Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program initiatives aligned with agency objectives
- Analyze program performance metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for leadership
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure program compliance with federal regulations
- Manage grant allocations and budget resources efficiently
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with veteran service organizations and community partners
- Oversee program evaluation processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Ensure adherence to federal procurement and contracting protocols
- Mentor junior staff and facilitate knowledge transfer within the program
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of federal program management experience
- Proficiency with federal grant management systems (e.g., MAX.gov)
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal regulations (FAR, DFARS, VA policies)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication abilities for stakeholder engagement
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience with veteran service programs highly desirable
