Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing and management of public records requests and inquiries.
- Coordinate and support community outreach events and stakeholder meetings.
- Prepare and edit routine memos, reports, and correspondence for department leadership.
- Maintain and update departmental databases and filing systems to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct research on state policies and regulations to support ongoing projects.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
- Knowledge of state government processes is a plus.
