Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal grant programs supporting veteran healthcare access
- Analyze policy compliance for VA healthcare initiatives in Ohio
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships with state/local government entities
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional stakeholders and oversight committees
- Manage program budgets exceeding $2M annually
- Conduct site evaluations at VA facilities across Northern Ohio
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with veteran service organizations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal grant management or program oversight
- Proficiency with federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Advanced knowledge of VA healthcare systems and veteran benefits
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience preparing congressional testimony and official reports
- Valid Ohio driver's license for regional travel requirements
