Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of federal government projects, ensuring alignment with agency objectives and strategic goals.
- Ensure strict compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency-specific policies and guidelines.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, analysts, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project roadblocks.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports, budget updates, and status briefings to senior leadership and federal stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with government clients to foster collaboration and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal project management or government contracting environments.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or higher) is required.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a federal context.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for interfacing with high-level government officials.
- Proven ability to manage budgets exceeding $1M and large teams of 10+ members.
