Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-life cycle of federal contracts, ensuring delivery of high-value solutions within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Ensure strict compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) guidelines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including technical leads and subject matter experts, to resolve complex project issues.
- Manage stakeholder expectations for federal agencies, providing clear, concise, and regular progress reporting.
- Identify project risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations.
- Oversee the budgeting process and financial performance tracking for assigned projects.
- Facilitate team meetings, stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions to maintain high team velocity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing federal government contracts or working within a DoD or civilian agency environment.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one within 6 months) is required.
- PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of government contracting lifecycle, cost accounting standards, and reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- Proven track record of leading teams of 10+ professionals in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for high-level stakeholder engagement.
