Responsibilities
- Process and organize incoming federal mail and documents with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- Operate high-speed document scanning equipment and indexing systems to digitize physical records.
- Maintain accurate records of all archived materials and ensure proper chain of custody.
- Perform routine maintenance of filing systems, shelving units, and office equipment.
- Assist in the retrieval and secure shipment of sensitive materials to other federal agencies.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and security clearances required for federal facilities.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for federal employment.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a suitable security clearance.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
