Job Overview:

You will be responsible for the accurate filing, retrieval, and disposal of federal documents in accordance with strict regulations. Responsibilities
- Manage and organize physical and digital federal records in accordance with retention schedules.
- Process and track Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence for senior management.
- Conduct regular audits of filing systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive government information at all times.
- Operate office equipment and utilize records management software (e.g., FileBound, SharePoint).
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for federal positions.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a government or legal setting.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Clearance: Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
