Responsibilities
- Mail & Document Processing: Efficiently sort, process, and distribute incoming federal mail and sensitive documents to appropriate departments.
- Records Management: Organize, archive, and maintain physical and electronic records in strict accordance with federal guidelines and retention schedules.
- Scanning & Imaging: Operate high-speed document scanners and imaging software to convert hard copies into digital formats for long-term storage.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to strict security protocols, access controls, and privacy regulations to protect classified and sensitive information.
- Data Entry: Accurately input data into federal databases and management systems using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular audits of office supplies and records inventory to ensure stock levels are maintained.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associateās degree or relevant administrative certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a records management, clerical, or administrative role is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work a full-time weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and basic computer navigation.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy when handling sensitive documents and data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government-issued background clearance.
