Responsibilities
- Patrol government facilities and surrounding grounds to maintain a visible deterrent against crime.
- Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and issuing visitor passes.
- Respond promptly to security alarms, emergencies, and disturbances.
- Document all incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed logs.
- Enforce facility rules and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Conduct regular security inspections to identify and report potential hazards.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for government security clearance.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong observation skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
