Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 surveillance and patrols of federal properties using advanced monitoring systems
- Enforce access control protocols and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Respond swiftly to security incidents and coordinate with law enforcement
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Operate X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and other security equipment
- Conduct routine safety inspections of premises and equipment
- Collaborate with federal agencies during emergency response drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in security software and surveillance technology
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to pass extensive background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
