Responsibilities
- Conduct nighttime surveillance and patrols at federal facilities along the San Diego border
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts with immediate tactical response
- Enforce federal immigration laws and customs regulations during off-peak hours
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies during joint operations
- Maintain detailed incident reports and digital surveillance logs
- Operate specialized detection equipment including biometric scanners and night-vision technology
- Train and mentor junior security personnel on night shift protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with active Secret security clearance
- Minimum 2 years federal law enforcement or military police experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure nocturnal environments
- Physical readiness for extended standing/walking and variable weather conditions
- Familiarity with federal incident command systems (ICS)
