Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents in real-time
- Conduct foot patrols of federal property and perimeter checkpoints
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Coordinate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergencies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend security enhancements
- Maintain compliance with DHS and federal security regulations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in surveillance systems and access control software
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
