Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses of federal facilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents during weekend shifts
- Enforce access control procedures and verify credentials for personnel/visitors
- Prepare detailed security reports and incident documentation
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Conduct regular patrols and physical security inspections
- Maintain compliance with DHS security directives and NISPOM standards
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret security clearance
- Minimum 3 years experience in security operations or law enforcement
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in security software systems (e.g., C-CURE, Genetec)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills for report writing
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Basic knowledge of emergency response protocols
