Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of federal IT infrastructure and servers.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal security protocols, including FedRAMP and NIST standards.
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot network hardware and software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support federal mission-critical applications.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration or IT support within a government or defense contracting environment.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
