Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, and maintain local and wide-area networks and servers for federal clients.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect federal data and ensure compliance with NIST 800-171 and FISMA standards.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and mission-critical applications.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain security clearances.
- Document system configurations, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute IT infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in federal IT environments.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GSEC preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal IT security compliance frameworks.
