Responsibilities
- Coordinate veteran care services and resource referrals during weekend operations
- Process and prioritize urgent medical requests and administrative paperwork
- Provide direct support to veterans and their families via phone, email, and in-person
- Collaborate with on-call medical staff to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation systems
- Conduct eligibility verification for VA benefits and programs
- Participate in weekend emergency response protocols and drills
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, social work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in veteran services or federal healthcare
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA background clearance
- Strong crisis management and conflict resolution skills
- Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
- Weekend and holiday availability mandatory
