Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefits applications with 99.8% accuracy during weekend shifts
- Coordinate with federal agencies to resolve complex veteran cases within SLAs
- Maintain secure electronic health records and sensitive veteran data
- Conduct weekend eligibility screenings for VA healthcare programs
- Train weekend staff on federal compliance protocols and procedures
- Generate weekly performance reports for leadership review
- Support emergency response operations during weekend duty periods
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with active Secret security clearance
- 3+ years experience in federal/government administration
- Proficiency in VA systems (VBMS, VBA) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- VA-accredited benefits specialist certification preferred
