Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and athletic fields
- Lead recreational programs for children, seniors, and community groups
- Organize and supervise seasonal events (festivals, sports leagues, fitness classes)
- Perform routine park inspections and safety assessments
- Assist in light maintenance tasks (landscaping, equipment upkeep, waste management)
- Engage with community members to gather feedback and improve services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours (weekends, evenings, and holidays required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of recreation programming or event coordination
- Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
