Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, facilities, and equipment to safety standards
- Assist with setup and supervision of community events and programs
- Perform routine maintenance including landscaping, trash removal, and minor repairs
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Support seasonal operations including summer camps and holiday events
- Complete safety inspections and incident documentation
- Collaborate with full-time staff on park improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Indiana driver's license preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance or recreation programming
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for events
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform physical tasks
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training available)
