Responsibilities
- Maintain park landscapes including mowing, pruning, irrigation, and seasonal planting
- Operate and inspect recreational equipment (playgrounds, sports courts, trails)
- Support event setup/teardown for festivals, sports leagues, and cultural programs
- Conduct daily facility inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist with wildlife habitat management and conservation projects
- Engage visitors and provide information about park programs
- Collaborate with volunteer groups for community beautification projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic landscaping/maintenance experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Availability for weekends, holidays, and evening events
