Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, including landscaping, equipment upkeep, and safety inspections
- Operate recreational facilities (pools, sports courts, playgrounds) and enforce safety protocols
- Lead engaging recreational activities for diverse age groups and abilities
- Assist with event setup and coordination for community programs
- Perform light maintenance on park infrastructure and amenities
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Collaborate with team members on daily operations and special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance and safety standards
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience in recreation or outdoor work preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
