Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI systems and quantum-integrated platforms
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year adoption cycles
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human-machine symbiosis
- Collaborate with MIT Future Tech Consortium on industry standards for 2026 tech ecosystems
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board with ROI projections for $100M+ initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging tech forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in tech strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of shipping products with 5+ year vision cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in technology adoption curves and regulatory impact analysis
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on future tech implications (2019-2023)
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain for DoD partnerships
