Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop quantitative frameworks for evaluating ROI and risk of emerging tech investments
- Spearhead pilot programs for breakthrough technologies (quantum AI, neuro interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global innovation hubs
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of 2026 technology landscape: quantum computing, AGI, decentralized systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
