Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap across quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with industry partners
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop frameworks for ethical adoption of emerging technologies (AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and external stakeholders at global innovation forums
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and lean methodology
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, or MBA)
- Deep understanding of exponential technology trends and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and risk assessment
- Published thought leadership in technology ethics or innovation strategy
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for experimental projects
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
