Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, etc.) to develop strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Design and execute innovation pilots to validate next-gen technologies in real-world scenarios
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into commercial offerings
- Present compelling tech forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and industry innovation partners
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at premier tech conferences
- Oversee cross-functional projects from ideation to implementation with measurable ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication expertise
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology innovation management preferred
