Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum, biotech, sustainable tech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia to accelerate R&D
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation team focused on exponential technologies
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption and strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D with 5+ years in leadership
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $10M+ market impact or equivalent disruption
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, sustainable tech, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with ability to translate complex concepts into executable roadmaps
- Strong background in scenario planning and futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon scanning)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M with ROI-focused deliverables
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with technology focus preferred
