Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and consumer trends
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, spatial web) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging tech capabilities into core offerings
- Deliver strategic briefings to C-suite and investors on technology disruption risks and opportunities
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory implications for emerging innovations
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology roles with demonstrated impact on product roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (AI ethics, biotech convergence, decentralized systems)
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Track record of launching successful future-focused products or ventures
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making approach
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
