Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends, technologies, and societal shifts relevant to 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to prepare the organization for multiple future states
- Translate foresight analysis into actionable innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present future-focused strategies to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish metrics to track innovation portfolio performance against future-state benchmarks
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Lead thought leadership initiatives through whitepapers and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy roles
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills with C-suite experience
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research abilities with data-driven decision-making
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation initiatives
