Responsibilities
- Forecast industry and societal trends through quantitative analysis and qualitative research
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligned with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate planning
- Lead scenario planning workshops for high-stakes decision-making
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on future-of-work paradigms
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and their impact on global markets
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of trend analysis and scenario planning
- Expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, or climate tech ecosystems
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend mapping tools
