Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast industry disruptions
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and implementation plans
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions and validate market readiness
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture organization-wide
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future analysis
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic initiatives
- Expertise in trend mapping, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight organizations) preferred
- Portfolio published future forecasts or strategic frameworks
