Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic roadmaps by analyzing emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive opportunities and risks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and business initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish KPI frameworks to track progress toward 2026 strategic milestones
- Advise executive leadership on ethical implications and societal impact of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or tech foresight roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience visualizing complex future scenarios
- Track record of publishing future-focused thought leadership or research papers
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic positioning
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or futures consultancy)
