Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 innovation strategy spanning AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Anticipate global megatrends (demographic, economic, environmental) and translate insights into competitive advantages
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-state vision and execution roadmaps
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to validate futuristic concepts through rapid prototyping and pilot programs
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurism forums and thought leadership platforms
- Monitor emerging tech patents and policy developments to identify first-mover opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into scalable business initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, clean energy) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking preferred
