Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies (quantum AI, neuro interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations with potential $B+ market impact
- Develop strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring innovation ROI and adoption readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurist or innovation roles
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence
- Proven track record of launching $1M+ innovation initiatives
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar designation highly desirable
