As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and venture partners to identify paradigm-shifting technologies. Your insights will directly influence product development, investment decisions, and market positioning for 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps aligned with market evolution and regulatory shifts
- Author whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate emerging startups and IP opportunities
- Represent Horizon at global tech summits and policy forums on future technologies
- Maintain proprietary database of breakthrough innovations and disruptor signals
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating technological trends into market advantage
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, synthetic biology
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience in scenario modeling
- Published author in tech futurism or peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Global network of academic and industry futurist connections
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR)
