Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology foresight strategy aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead scenario planning workshops for emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future innovations into commercial roadmaps
- Produce executive briefings on disruptive technology impacts and opportunities
- Establish global partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Manage a $5M+ speculative R&D portfolio for experimental technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation leadership
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends (AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Methodologies (e.g., CFTE) required
- Published thought leadership on technology's societal impact
