Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech, Web3) with 2026-2030 impact assessment
- Develop and present strategic technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives and societal shifts
- Architect cross-functional innovation labs prototyping next-gen solutions in immersive realities and decentralized systems
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready capabilities into core offerings while mitigating adoption risks
- Produce thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynote speeches) positioning company as 2026 technology authority
- Build and maintain ecosystem relationships with research institutions, startups, and regulatory bodies
- Advise executive board on technology investments and ethical implications of disruptive innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting with portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives
- Proven track record forecasting technology trends with documented impact on business strategy (2018-2024)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or spatial computing
- Exceptional strategic communication skills translating complex futures into actionable executive narratives
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or relevant field with PhD preferred
- Certification in Futures Studies (e.g., CFS) or technology foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-tech analyses or implemented 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
