Responsibilities
- Perform daily sanitation operations, including trash collection, recycling sorting, and yard waste management.
- Maintain public parks, sidewalks, and roadways to ensure safety and accessibility.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter weather events.
- Conduct minor facility maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
- Operate heavy and light machinery, including trucks, dumpsters, and street sweepers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and municipal regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class D) and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Physical ability to perform strenuous outdoor labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Experience in maintenance, sanitation, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to public service and community improvement.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
