Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive maps, layers, and geodatabases using ArcGIS Pro and SQL.
- Collect, clean, and analyze spatial data to support county-wide initiatives and reporting.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify spatial data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in compliance with government standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, training materials, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Information Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Cartography.
- Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS suite, including ArcGIS Online and ArcMap.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, specifically SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
