Responsibilities
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and verification of weekly payroll data to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all staff.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date government records, filing systems, and digital databases in compliance with strict data protection regulations.
- Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external government agencies, answering inquiries and routing correspondence efficiently.
- Reporting: Generate weekly and monthly administrative reports regarding office operations and departmental performance metrics.
- Compliance: Ensure all office procedures adhere to government guidelines, health and safety protocols, and internal policy standards.
- Office Management: Oversee the daily operations of the office, including resource allocation, meeting scheduling, and supply management.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or public sector environment is highly desirable.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic accounting software.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Eligibility: Must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
