Responsibilities
- Process citizen permit applications and license renewals within 48-hour turnaround
- Maintain digital records using Phoenix.gov municipal databases (training provided)
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications for public works projects
- Prepare weekly financial reports for council review
- Manage constituent inquiries via phone, email, and in-person at service counters
- Support emergency response documentation during extreme weather events
- Assist with public meeting logistics and minute preparation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year administrative/clerical experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Valid Arizona driver's license (for occasional off-site duties)
