Responsibilities
- Manage departmental calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating logistics
- Process confidential documents and maintain accurate digital/physical records
- Assist with budget tracking, expense reports, and procurement documentation
- Respond to public inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Prepare official correspondence, reports, and presentations for leadership review
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and special projects
- Ensure compliance with government record-keeping and security protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearance
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Kentucky driver's license (if travel required)
