- Coordinate public-facing services including permits, licenses, and inquiries
- Manage departmental communications across multiple channels
- Support budget tracking and procurement documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
- Ensure compliance with municipal regulations and protocols
- Train and mentor new administrative staff members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years administrative experience in government/public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and record-keeping systems
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass background clearance and fingerprinting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings
