Responsibilities
- Receive and screen incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person to determine appropriate action.
- Process and maintain accurate records for city departments, ensuring data integrity and compliance with local regulations.
- Assist the public with navigating government forms, applications, and procedural requirements.
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications to streamline workflow and resolve citizen issues.
- Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and meeting agendas using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Monitor office supplies and inventory to ensure operational readiness.
- Perform data entry tasks and generate statistical reports as requested by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government operations.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Familiarity with public sector processes and government regulations is a plus.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
