Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
- Process incoming applications, requests for information, and correspondence with speed and accuracy.
- Maintain and update confidential records, databases, and filing systems in accordance with state regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports, memos, and presentations for executive leadership and public stakeholders.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to facilitate communication and ensure project milestones are met.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and tracking of departmental expenditures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public and internal staff via phone, email, and in person.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a government, public sector, or high-level administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and government-specific software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
