Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze local, state, and federal legislation affecting City operations
- Develop and implement policy recommendations for City Council review
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications on government affairs
- Represent the City in stakeholder meetings and public hearings
- Prepare comprehensive reports on regulatory impacts and compliance requirements
- Manage grant applications and funding opportunities for public programs

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government relations or policy analysis
- Deep understanding of Texas state and local government structures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
- Valid Texas driver's license
- U.S. citizenship required for government clearance
