Responsibilities
- Analyze local, state, and federal legislation affecting Atlanta's urban development initiatives
- Coordinate cross-departmental policy implementation and compliance monitoring
- Liaise with community leaders, non-profits, and industry stakeholders to gather input
- Prepare comprehensive briefings and reports for City Council and executive leadership
- Manage public engagement campaigns and town hall meetings
- Track budget allocations and grant opportunities for municipal programs
- Advise on regulatory changes impacting city operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years government affairs or public policy experience
- Deep knowledge of Georgia legislative processes and Atlanta municipal governance
- Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships
- Valid Georgia driver's license and clean driving record
- U.S. citizenship required for government clearance
