Responsibilities
- Analyze municipal data to inform policy recommendations for economic development initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for City Council and public hearings
- Collaborate with 15+ city departments on cross-functional projects
- Manage $5M+ grant compliance and reporting documentation
- Conduct public surveys and stakeholder engagement sessions
- Develop performance metrics for city programs using KPI tracking
- Ensure all deliverables comply with state/federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years government/public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Excel
- Valid New Mexico driver's license
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with municipal budgeting processes
- Certification in Government Financial Management (GFOA) preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly valued
