Responsibilities
- Process incoming applications for government assistance programs with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct comprehensive interviews to gather necessary documentation and eligibility information.
- Review and verify applicant data against federal and state regulations.
- Provide clear, empathetic, and accurate guidance to applicants regarding program requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive personal and financial information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex cases and improve service delivery.
- Update and maintain accurate records in the departmental database.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or government sector.
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturday and Sunday.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new case management software quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
