Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations affecting public agencies
- Develop and implement compliance protocols for 15+ government departments
- Conduct virtual audits and prepare detailed compliance reports
- Train agency personnel on regulatory requirements and best practices
- Coordinate with legal counsel to resolve compliance issues
- Maintain digital compliance documentation systems
- Represent the department in regulatory hearings and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of regulatory compliance experience in government sector
- Strong knowledge of Oklahoma state regulations and federal mandates
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license (for occasional on-site requirements)
- Professional certification (CPA, CCEP) preferred
