Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations affecting municipal services
- Conduct compliance audits across 15+ city departments
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for 200+ staff
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for the Mayor's Office
- Coordinate with legal counsel on regulatory updates
- Lead cross-functional compliance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 3+ years compliance/regulatory experience in government
- Strong knowledge of Tennessee municipal codes
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills
- Proficient in compliance management software
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Ability to pass federal background check
